Over 4 days, in June and July, about 3000 artists perform, ranging from big names like Blur and Queens of the Stone Age to lesser-known bands.

The festival happens during the summer, but the dates change from year to year.

6. Montreux Jazz Festival, Switzerland

The Montreux Jazz Festival takes place in June and July on the shores of Lake Geneva in the charming town of Montreux. Since its debut in 1967, it has expanded to include various music genres beyond jazz. 7. Hellfest, France

9. Sziget, Hungary

Past editions of Outside Lands featured performances by Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Metallica, and The Who. Outside Lands takes place each year in August.
