La Taverna dei Fori Imperiali is a family-run restaurant serving dishes from the Roman tradition. Over time, it has become a somewhat touristy spot often recommended by guides, but it still maintains its quality. Their burrata ravioli are simply delicious. The desserts are also a delight.
For lunch, and especially for dinner, it is almost essential to book in advance, given the restaurant’s proximity to the Colosseum. Reservations can only be made by phone.

Fiammetta Restaurant is a hidden gem on a street of antique shops, Via dei Coronari. Here there is only real food, good service, reasonable prices, and the option to dine in or on the pleasant outdoor terrace.
Here you will find typical Roman dishes, wood-fired pizzas, and even a variety of seafood – all with an unusual freshness for a restaurant in the center of Rome. Everything is delicious, so don’t hesitate to order what you desire and enjoy a great meal and some rest after a morning of sightseeing.

This pizzeria is more like a kitchen than a restaurant. At Pizzeria Ai Marmi, all the tables are close together, which means you’ll be sharing a table with strangers, and they’ll literally make the pizza in front of your eyes. Instead of splurging on attracting customers, this restaurant invests in meticulously crafting its dough and selecting top-notch ingredients to create a truly spectacular culinary experience.
If you’re someone who could happily indulge in pizza every single night, then we wholeheartedly recommend giving this place a try. It’s popular among locals, which says a lot about its quality!

SantoPalato is a cozy trattoria known for its revival of traditional flavors. They specialize in offal dishes like tripe, sweetbreads, and pork tongue, alongside classic favorites such as amatriciana and Genovese pasta. You’ll also find more tempting options like oxtail and meatballs on their menu.
While SantoPalato may not suit everyone’s taste, we suggest making a reservation in advance since it’s quite popular.

At Giulia, you can dine overlooking Via Giulia through its large windows, in an elegant ambiance that combines vintage furniture and industrial decorations.
